What cookies are. They are small files stored on your device when you open a web page. They let the website "remember" you and your choices, either for a single visit or for later ones. Some are erased as soon as you close the browser, others stay until their expiry date or until you delete them yourself.

We do not use marketing cookies. We do not display advertisements, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not sell or rent out your data.

Who else is involved. The measurement cookies are set by Google, through the Analytics service. The payment security cookies are set by Stripe, the provider that carries out card payments. If you choose to pay with PayPal, the payment is completed on PayPal's own site, where PayPal sets its own cookies under its own policy. Google's reCAPTCHA also runs on the contact forms, telling the human apart from the automated program, and loads as soon as you start filling a form in. Google, Stripe and PayPal may process data outside the European Union as well.

Google's reCAPTCHA loads only on the pages that have a form, and only once you start filling it in. It stores no cookie on grifon.se; it may use its own cookies on the google.com domain, in accordance with Google's privacy policy.

We have neither embedded video nor a map. There is no YouTube clip and no Google map on grifon.se, so no such content can place cookies on your device.

How you give and how you withdraw your consent. On your first visit the message appears with two buttons: "I accept" and "No, I do not accept". Until you answer, only the strictly necessary ones are activated. If you click "No, I do not accept", no measurement cookie is placed — and any that had already been set are deleted. You can change your decision at any time from the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. On small screens the two buttons appear shortened, as "YES" and "NO".

How long your answer lasts. We ask your browser to remember the answer for one year. Some browsers — mainly Safari on iPhone, iPad and Mac — limit that period to a few days on their own, and we cannot change it. If that happens, you will see the message again sooner. It is not a fault: until you answer again, only the strictly necessary ones are activated.

How you control them from your browser. Every browser has cookie settings, usually in the "Settings → Privacy and security" menu. From there you can view them, delete them or block them. If you block everything, some functions of the store — the login and the cart — will not work.

What we keep from your answer. When you answer the message, we record the answer, the date, your IP address and your browser, so that we can demonstrate consent. This data is kept for one year and is not used for any other purpose.

Your rights. You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, and object to its processing, by writing to info@grifon.se. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY): Box 8114, 104 20 Stockholm, Sweden · telephone +46 8 657 61 00 · imy@imy.se · www.imy.se.

Changes. We may update this policy. The current version applies from 18 September 2026.
